No, it's not Halloween part 2. Dia de lo Muertos is a unique Latin American holiday that has an iconic Mexican vibe. Sugar skulls, fiesta inspired paper flowers, and colorful paper flag banners known as papel picado make this theme especially festive.
This wedding featured all of those elements plus beautiful embroidered dresses, a sugar skull wedding cake, homemade street tacos and an overflowing arrangement of pan dulce. The bride and groom treated their late night guests to tamales and elotes as well. What a treat!
